CARD Games
Pictures of cards and many more in pack, with over 30 Dinosaurs and 30 Other Animals, from times past.
Wildcat® & Dinohistoria®, are 2 entertaining new card games launched by Educational Learning for all the family and their friends to have fun, whilst learning, including details about animals, past and present. These games have been enjoyed by just adults playing.
The games are for ages 7+ and assists with: -

Has 3 levels of play with instruction sheet, 54 cards plus 2 further cards with the rules for ‘Pairs’ & ‘Snap’. The cards have actual photographs and facts of the wild cats from around the world, from the ‘King of the Jungle’ Lion, Tiger, Leopard and Cheetah to the Serval, Lynx, Fishing cat, Wildcat and many others.
Whilst Wildcat is for Age 7+, younger players Age 5+ can enjoy playing Pairs or Snap.
NOTE: There are around 36 species of Wildcats, some only surviving in relative small areas.
The 5 big cats are the Lion, Tiger, Jaguar, Leopard and Puma, their young are known as cubs as is the Cheetah, whereas the smaller cats young are known as kittens.
The Puma: Is also known as: – Mountain Lion, Cougar, Panther or Catamount, dependent on region.
Anglia Ruskin University evaluated Wildcat with children, making the overall comment ‘The games have the potential to underpin the school curriculum and work in primary schools’. Stating the Wildcat cards themselves are fun and interesting, the use of different colours is a good element and the facts written on them are well presented and keep the children’s focus
We then added the following game:

- Dinosaurs appeal to each generation and there are many familiar ones in this game and Animals past from 4.6 billion to 10,000 years ago.
This game with 56 playing cards and instuctions, each card having a different image with exquisite, authentic vivid illustrations, licensed by the Picture Library of the Natural History Museum and captions about them. The images cover from the Precambrian period to Quaternary, 4.6 billion years to 10,000 years ago. Many of the Dinosaurs are familiar, Tyrannosaurus rex, Allosaurus, Brachiosaurus, Iguanodon, Triceratops, Pteranodon and others. Plus over 20 other animals, including the Sabre-toothed Tiger and Mammuthus primigenius (woolly mammoth).
The rules are simple to follow so that children, can quickly play the game and have fun.
Whilst Dinohistoria is for Age 7+, younger players Age 5+ can play Pairs or Snap (using any four of the 5 suits – 44 cards) matching by numbers.
Both these games are for 2 – 6 players have educational value so everyone can learn whilst having fun and being entertained, enhancing a whole range of skills, e.g. numeracy, literacy and several others. The benefits were highlighted in a recent study by Anglia Ruskin University.
